Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears
serves 4
Ingredients
- 2 ea ripe pears, peeled, halved, cored, rubbed with lemon juice
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2 T port wine
- 5 T butter
- 1/2 C chopped pecans or walnuts
- white or red seedless grapes, halved
- lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Blend the cheeses, wine and butter in a food processor.
- Fill the pear cavities with the cheese mixture, mounding slightly, then refrigerate.
- Plate on lettuce leaves, garnish with nuts and grapes, and serve.
